I have been plumbing for 35 years and have seen a lot of changes, some good some bad. The internet now this is a big change. What a way for people to get the word out good or bad it is here. From A to Z so let's start with A boys and girls.
Being in business is hard enough, then comes along the A LIST who says they only publish peoples opinions.
We would like our potential customers to go see what our past clients have said about us, visit them at.
List you have to pay for who will not let you see anything about us.

They will not let you view what our past customers have said because they say we infringed on their trademark, and until we remove their name from our site, they will continue to block.
Of course they charge for that, but use them to tell customers about our service. So if you have used our service good or bad let us know. Everyone has room for improvement. We will post it on our site. And that is free.

NOW I HATE THIS! A certain website which customers pay to view their findings or report cards, have handy men listed as doing plumbing. WHOA !. AND they even have them as doing ELECTRICAL. Last time I checked they both take a special state issued license, so before you use, check them out, just because they say licensed, what license I would ask are they referring too. Would a licensed Plumber be doing a handyman company? Well if he was he would know to advertise plumbing you need to display a license of a master plumber. They do not even verify or check out to make sure if the contractors are insured as they say they actually just post info with out verifying if the contractor, or handy andy is insured they ask in an on line form, this site does. license numbers, bond numbers, insurance are all up to date and are posted on this site.
UPDATE:03/20/2006 Mail just arrived and now I am being threatened. We have done nothing wrong. They can put what customers say about us on a list and charge people to see. I encourage customers to use whatever it takes to find a reputable contractor of which we are. But I draw the line when it comes to they can put something bad on their site about us ( to our knowledge has not been done) and we can not dispute because they are only stating customers experiences. So am I using their name for financial gain or their logo. NO! I am not.
APRIL 20, 2006 I decided to start my own website it is free to customers and contractors, that someday might change but for now it is FREE. Had another advertiser call and ask us to join, I checked it out and I have to tell you, they just do not let any contractor join, they verify if license is current, bonds current, insurance info and they post on their site how is that for being credible
I want potential customers to find reputable contractors in their area. Now they say customers will be blocked from viewing our name unless we remove their name. Any one wishing to read the letter and see who signed and their threat to us can view it by the end of week.

REGISTERED MAIL TODAY FROM A BOTTOM DWELLING POND SUCKER, NOW THEY WANT US TO PAY FOR USING, LET ME SEE I REFER POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS TO THEIR SITE, AND THEY WANT TO CHARGE US, THEY CAN PUT INFO ON THEIR SITE AT WILL, AND CONTRACTORS HAVE TO BE SCRUTINIZED FOR AN OPINION THAT IS AN UNHAPPY CUSTOMER BUT NO ONE GETS TO HEAR BOTH SIDES, SOUNDS FAIR. WE HAVE HAD NO FINANCIAL GAIN FROM USING AND OR DIRECTING CUSTOMERS TO THEIR SITE, GO FIGURE. I hate attorneys, who in the heck do they think they are, they will try and sue someone over anything.

Here is the deal ESP Metropolitan has nothing to hide. If we get a bad report we will post it ourself and you won't have to a monthly fee to find out, If it is OK with customer we will even give you their e-mail if you request and have a valid e-mail, no free mails hot mail, yahoo,
We will gladly post any bad remarks if valid. We will even post on our bulletin board for all to see, and it will be free.
